Position Summary:
The IVTSCC Bartender is responsible for set up and execution of bar functions including preparing drinks to order, using proper portions and ingredients. Must be resourceful with all fruits and beverages necessary to stock and operate the bar. Responsible for cleanliness behind bar, storage space and equipment. Learn and understand all beverage programs including wine list, specialty drinks, local products and Happy Hours. Comply with all beverage regulations. Complete daily side work and checklists to ensure proper handling of business levels.

Required Qualifications:
Prior restaurant bartending experience. The successful candidates must have strong customer service skills that contribute to achieving 100% guest satisfaction. Excellent communications skills. Must possess the ability to understand and follow instructions; must be available to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cash and credit card handling procedures. Knowledge of performing the duties of bartending set up, organization, service, stocking, clean up and reporting. Payment Card Industry ( PCI ) requirements; and Point of Sales Systems (i.e. MICROS ). Product knowledge of wines, alcohol and specialty drinks as well as a familiarity with menus.
