Postdoctoral Researcher -CRESP

Deadline: Open until filled

The Center for Research in Education and Social Policy (CRESP) within the College of Education and Human Development at the University of Delaware conducts rigorous research in education, health care, and human services. CRESP was recently awarded a federal grant to support the creation of a national research and development center focused on knowledge utilization in schools. The ultimate goal of the new Center for Research Use in Education (Rethinking Research for Schools, R4S) is to expand the study of knowledge utilization in schools and produce a more holistic picture of what drives research use, from the production of knowledge through research to the application of knowledge in local decision-making processes. To understand whether education research, through the work and products of the Institute of Education Sciences (IES), its affiliated centers (e.g., the What Works Clearinghouse), and its grantees and contractors, is informing decisions at the school-level, we need to study the school-based practitioner community, the research community and the connections between them. R4S is looking to hire a Post-Doc Researcher who will play a key role in sample recruitment, instrument development, data collection and management, data analyses, and production of reports.
