Assistant Professor, Communication Sciences & Disorders

Full/Part Time Status:Full Time Service Schedule:Academic Year

Position Description:

Tenure-track position as Assistant Professor in Communication Sciences & Disorders is available beginning August 2017. Successful candidate's primary teaching and clinical responsibilities will be in speech-language pathology. Specialty area within speech-language pathology is open, but preference given to speech science, fluency disorders, child language and phonology. Position includes teaching undergraduate and graduate classes in area of specialization, clinical supervision, student advising and mentoring, scholarly research activities, and service to the department and university.

Education Requirements:

Ph.D. in speech-language pathology required; consideration given to ABDs with evidence of degree completion by August 2017.

Required Qualifications:

CCC-SLP credential required. Candidates must be eligible for Iowa license in speech-language pathology.
