Position Summary:
The Department of Finance at Virginia Tech seeks Assistant or Associate Professors of Finance for our Blacksburg VA campus. Doctoral degree in Finance or closely related field from a premier business school with at least 3 years of experience and a record of top quality research. Commitment to pursuit of high quality research and teaching excellence are required. A criminal background check is required.
The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Finance, conduct and publish top-quality research in Finance, participate in service activities at the University. Occasional travel to attend professional conferences and meetings is also required.

Required Qualifications:
Doctoral Degree in Finance or closely related field. 3 years of experience, and a record of top quality research.

Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with a doctoral degree in Finance from a premier business school will be strongly preferred.
