Postdoctoral Associate, Resilient Infrastructure Networks Lab

POSTDOCTORAL ASSOCIATE, Civil and Environmental Engineering-Resilient Infrastructure Networks Lab, to work on cyber-physical security of smart grid infrastructures. The specific focus is on improving the resilience of electric distribution networks using tools from network control, game theory, and the economic theories of incentives and information. Will work closely with faculty supervisor and collaborate with an interdisciplinary research team with the long-term goal of designing resilient control and economic incentives for critical infrastructure systems. Will participate in the newly-funded NSF CPS Frontier Project, Foundations Of Resilient CybEr-physical Systems ( http://www.cps-forces.org ).

Job Requirements
REQUIRED: a Ph.D. in electrical or systems engineering or operations research; strong background in control and decision sciences, microeconomic theory, stochastic processes, and optimization; knowledge of network security, electric power systems, and simulation-based testing of networks; evidence of unique scholarly contributions; excellent written and oral communication skills; and ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of researchers.
