TWO POSITIONS WILL BE FILLED FROM THIS RECRUITMENT . This position will be the university's business intelligence data modeler and designer. It will work collaboratively with both University constituents and technical subject matter experts to translate user requirements into tangible data requirements and associated conceptual and logical data models. It will assist in the maintenance and support of the Business Intelligence Infrastructure. It will assist in the design and development and maintenance of complex and advanced reports.

Knowledge, skills and abilities
Considerable knowledge of Enterprise Information Management concepts. Considerable knowledge and experience designing and developing data models to support business intelligence applications. Considerable knowledge of database structured query language and advanced reporting techniques. Working knowledge of Business Intelligence Tools and administration. Demonstrated ability to use SQL and PL/ SQL .Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficient skill in the use of data modeling tools.

Level and type of experience
Considerable experience in designing and developing data models to support business intelligence applications. Considerable experience in advanced and complex database report writing. Considerable experience in the administration of Business Intelligence environments. Some experience in leading projects from start to completion.

Preferred knowledge, skills, abilities, education, experience, licensure, certification
Experience with IBM Cognos, Oracle DBMS systems, and Ellucian BI products. B.S. or B.A. in Computer Science or MIS or related field, or training and experience equivalent to an advanced degree.

Conditions of Employment
40 hour work week Monday-Friday; some evenings and weekends; rotating on call.
This position is designated as sensitive. A fingerprint-based criminal history check will be required of the final candidate.

Annual Salary/Hourly Rate
Salary is commensurate with education and experience and begins at $ - 57,342
