Job Description: The Department of Occupational Therapy at East Carolina University is seeking applications for a 12-month, tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor for a Master of Science program with a 10-year ACOTE re-accreditation.

A cohort of 26 students is admitted each fall and demonstrates high levels of participation at national conferences to disseminate student research. The College is within the Division of Health Sciences, along with nursing, medicine, and dentistry. It is also adjacent to a 900-bed, level-1 trauma center, Vidant Medical Center, which offers multiple opportunities to partner with the 20-plus occupational therapy practitioners within their system and shares a single IRB submission process with East Carolina University.

On the coastal plains, it has mild winters and is 90 miles from the beautiful Crystal Coast and the Research Triangle (or Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill). It is within driving distance of the District of Columbia, Myrtle Beach/Hilton Head, and the Smokey Mountains.

Faculty workloads support a balance of teaching, research, and service.
