Job Description: The Department of Psychology at East Carolina University invites applications for two fixed-term positions at the level of Teaching Instructor or Teaching Assistant Professor in Psychology (depending on qualifications) with anticipated employment starting August 14, 2017 for appointment for the 2017-18 academic year. Limited service (including advising of undergraduate majors) is expected. Teaching load is 12 credits hours (four courses) per semester and the position may be considered for subsequent appointment.


Minimum Qualifications: A doctorate in psychology from an appropriately accredited institution is required for the Teaching Assistant Professor. Someone whose dissertation is in progress may be appointed as Teaching Instructor. The successful candidates will have a demonstrated record in the teaching of psychology.
