The Mathematics and Science Division of Babson College invites applicants for a tenure-track position starting September 1, 2011.  The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in statistics, a proven teaching record with the desire to deliver statistics, operations research, and mathematics courses to undergraduate business students, and an active research agenda.  The anticipated teaching load is four classes per academic year.  The appointment will be made at a rank commensurate with the individual’s record. 

Babson College is a highly selective college located 14 miles west of Boston with approximately 1900 undergraduate students.  The undergraduate curriculum integrates core competencies, key business disciplines, and the liberal arts.  The college has recently formalized a partnership with Olin College of Engineering and Wellesley College.
