ENTERPRISE BUSINESS ANALYST


Position Summary:
The Business Analyst will work to ensure business analysis best practices and processes are used for business requirements elicitation. Our analysts develop and maintain business requirements alongside business operations staff, and work as part of testing teams to develop use cases and test cases. As an analyst, there is regular contact with campus leaders, directors, management, faculty and staff as we collaborate on strategies, courses of action, business case development, and business processes that affect students and employees campus-wide. This position will focus on large-scale, high-impact, cross-campus digital ecosystem IT projects. The Business analyst will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams from the division of Continuing Studies, Division of Enrollment Management, external implementation partners, vendors, and program directors on projects that align the lifelong learner lifecycle.

Degree and Area of Specialization:
Bachelor's Degree required.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:
-Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in business analysis or a related field.
-Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
-Interviewing and listening skills to elicit detailed requirements.
-Experience with Project Management.
-Verbal and written communication skills, ability to create effective requirements documents and review them with key project stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization.
-Experience with Oracle Applications.
-Experience with Oracle Database and Oracle Database Administration.
-Experience with SQL (Structured Query Language).
-Experience with Cloud services, such as Amazon Web Services or Oracle Cloud.
-Experience with Enterprise Analytics and Analytic Reporting.
-Big Data and Programming experience preferred.
-Experience with data integration from multiple systems.
