AUDIOVISUAL SPECIALIST


Position Summary:
This position is responsible for the management, operating, training, scheduling, maintaining, repairing, installing, troubleshooting, and tracking of all Divisional of Recreational Sports audiovisual (AV) equipment at the new Nicholas Recreation Center, Natatorium, Nielsen Tennis Stadium, Camp Randall Sports Center, Near West Turf Fields, the future lakeshore recreation center, and the future Near East Turf Fields. The equipment in these facilities support internal programming (fitness classes, club tournaments, classes, meetings) as well as external events. The position will support special events for audio, visual, and lighting. This position will work collaboratively with the Division's staff and University Departments to maintain electronic door hardware, building security cameras, and IPTV. This position will be involved in the design of the audio, visual, lighting and multi-media features of the future lakeshore recreation center and the future Near East Turf Fields.

Physical ability to walk, bend, stoop, climb, lift to shoulder height and carry weights of 25 lbs. on a frequent basis and up to 50 lbs ocasionally with or without accomodation.
