RESEARCH SPECIALIST


Position Summary:
Research in the Berridge lab focuses on the neurobiology of stress, arousal and cognitive enhancers used in the treatment of ADHD. This position will assist with carrying out the lab's research.

Degree and Area of Specialization:
BA/BS in Biology, Neuroscience, or Psychology or related field required. Degree in Behavioral Neuroscience, Biology, or Chemistry preferred.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:
The ideal candidate has a strong background in the biological sciences. A background in behavioral neuroscience is preferable but not required. Experience in a biology or neuroscience research lab working with laboratory animals preferred. Experience in more than one or more of the following areas are valued: small laboratory animal handling, behavioral testing of animals, preparation of laboratory solutions.

This position has the possibility to be extended or converted to an ongoing appointment based on need and/or funding.

Two hires will be made from this recruitment.
