Position Summary Information

Position Summary
The Office of Advancement Services is seeking a high energy, results-oriented professional with demonstrated success at building solid relationships as the Manager of Advancement Information, Systems and Analytics. The successful candidate will assist the Director of Advancement Services & Administrative Systems Development achieve the technical goals set forth by Finance, SRU Foundation, Alumni Engagement, Special Events and other areas of the Finance, Administration and Advancement Services Division. The bulk of the workload consists of developing and maintaining web custom applications using HTML , JavaScript, CSS , PHP , MySQL, Ajax and other web languages. This also includes developing mass emails to internal and external constituents and creating donation forms and event registration pages. Additionally, the successful candidate will assist in maintaining the Advancement database (Raiser's Edge) by performing data integrity/confidentiality procedures. This includes extracting data and developing reports from the database. Lastly, a vital aspect to this position is the development photo and video content for web use to help the solicitation/stewardship of charitable donations to the University.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or other related field, and the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities required to perform the essential functions;
Two years of experience in information technology or related computing knowledge equivalency;
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), HTML , JavaScript, CSS , MySQL, SQL , MSSQL and PHP ;
Experience with building and maintaining web applications using HTML , JavaScript, PHP , Ajax, JQuery, MySQL and other relevant web languages;
Experience with building and maintaining a website with a CMS system;
Experience developing mass emails using HTML and/or CMS system;
Experience running queries from a multi-table database with GUI interface resulting in producing and analyzing of reports;
Experience working with diverse populations;
Successful performance in an on-campus interview, including a live portfolio of web development applications/projects.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with a fundraising database;
Experience with Blackbaud's Raiser's Edge Database and NXT ;
Experience with Blackbaud's Net Community Platform;
Experience with Constant Contact Mass Email CMS ;
Experience with digital cameras for pictures and video with experience editing images/film with Adobe Photoshop/Premier;
Experience with vector and raster image editing;
Experience performing basic fiscal counting and reconciliation tasks.
