A.R. Mazzotta is currently recruiting for a senior level quality assurance opening in the Watertown area. Our client is looking for an experienced hands-on Quality Assurance / Inspector to join their quality control team.

As the Quality Assurance Inspector, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire quality control process and procedures. This includes conducting internal quality audits, preparing the shop for audits, ensure AS9100 compliance, processing quality documentation and taking the lead on product products. You will work closely with vendors and customers on quality control issues as needed.

In addition, you will be handling the hands-on inspection process. This will include First Article (FAI), in-process and final inspection of manufactured parts.

* Monitor and calibrating parts
* Processing inventory and purchase orders as needed

Position requires

* At least 15 years' experience in quality assurance role
* Full knowledge of the inspection process (FAI, In-process and final inspection) and required quality control documentation
* Prior experience conducting internal audits
* Prior experience working in an AS9100 environment
* Calibration experience
* Strong knowledge of standard measuring equipment including gauges, comparator / shadow graphs, CMM, Micrometers and Calipers
