RESEARCH SPECIALIST


Position Summary:
The Department of Medical Microbiology and Immunology is looking for a Research Specialist to join the Liang lab to augment research focused on inflammation and autoimmunity. We are looking for an individual who possesses the following characteristics:

Degree and Area of Specialization:
Bachelor's degree in the Biological Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, or related field is required.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:
Minimum of one (1) year of research experience required. Undergraduate laboratory research experience is acceptable. A strong background in molecular biology, cell biology, and biochemistry is also required. The successful applicant will possess a desire and demonstrated ability to learn new techniques. Preference will be given to applicants with experience in immunology and/or mouse models. Prefix assignment will be determined by years of relevant work experience. A minimum of 7 years' experience is required for appointment at the senior level.
