FINANCIAL SPECIALIST ADVANCED


Position Summary:
This position provides fiscal support for various account receivable and accounting processes in the Student Account area of the Bursar's Office. This position must be knowledgeable of a large variety of policies and procedures related to a variety of student financial information and requirements. This position must independently counsel students, parents, and university departments on complex student financial topics and has the authority to review and release holds and waiver of late payment appeals which directly impact tuition fees owed by students. This position performs pre-auditing and auditing functions to ensure accuracy of records and fund collections and distribution. This position is fluent in multiple student financial systems and has the ability to analyze and interpret complex account details. This position works under general supervision.
