Firestopper / Fireproofer

With 20 years in the passive fire and life safety industry, BRAND SERVICES has earned a reputation for delivering the highest quality service and professionals in our field. We specialize in Fire Door Inspections, Recertifications and Repairs, Fire / Smoke Damper Inspections & Repairs, Firestopping, Fireproofing, SOC surveys, PFI Remediation and Healthcare Regulatory Compliance. Firestopping is a critical component in maintain code compliance in healthcare and commercial facilities. We are now hiring technicians and willing to train the right candidate.

 

Responsibilities Include:

 Knowledge of wall barriers / ratings  Knowledge of UL listings  Firestopping of all major manufacturer materials  Caulk, spay and stuff applications  Carpentry and drywall  Ability to read blueprints / life safety drawings  Interaction and direct communication with project and facility managers  Detail oriented for completing survey and repair reporting  Annual training sessions

Job Skills & Requirements:

 Self motivated and ability to work independently  Experience in customer service  Professional appearance  Minimum high school graduate or GED equivalent  Valid driver’s license  Must be over 21 years of age  Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check  Travel is required  OSHA 10 or passing course within 14 days of employment
