Tenure/Tenure-Track Faculty Position

The Department of Infectious Diseases and Microbiology at the University of Pittsburgh, Graduate School of Public Health invites applications for an open rank, tenure/tenure-track faculty position. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or M.D. degree or equivalent. We are seeking an investigator with a strong record of research accomplishment who will complement departmental research interests. Priority will be given to those applicants who have established funded research programs or have recently obtained significant funding. The successful candidate is expected to develop a highly productive research program in areas with preferred emphasis on the molecular pathogenesis of HIV/AIDS and associated chronic diseases and microbiome disruption, and is expected to contribute to the teaching of graduate students.  The Department has a highly interactive group of virologists, immunologists and geneticists working on the immunopathogenesis of HIV/SIV and associated infections including HCV, KSHV and TB.
