This position works within the Operations Division to provide executive support services to the Executive Director in a one-on-one working relationship. The Executive Assistant serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the Executive Director. The position also serves as a liaison to the Commission and Asset Forfeiture Oversight Committee; organizes and coordinates executive outreach and relations efforts; and oversees special projects. This position requires critical attention to detail and understanding of Oregon's government structure and process.
This position requires the ability to have good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities. Most importantly, the position must prioritize conflicting needs; handle matters expeditiously, proactively, and follows-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures.
