Position Summary Information

Position Summary
Slippery Rock University is inviting applications for anticipated clerical vacancies to provide secretarial support to departments or individuals. The pool of applicants will be used to fill regular and temporary vacancies as they arise.

Minimum Qualifications
Six months clerical experience and training.
The successful applicant must be able to perform well in the interview and pass a criminal background check.
Applicants must be able to pass a typing test at 40 wpm.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the following areas: Microsoft Office and database management; web maintenance; budget maintenance and use of SAP program; developing and maintaining a filing system; ordering and maintaining office supplies; and working with diverse populations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multi-task are also preferred.
