Job Summary:
A University Services Program Associate/Program Coordinator works to support Program Directors and Managers to plan and implement quality, revenue-generating continuing education programming for adult learners from statewide, national and international audiences.

The position requires mastery of a broad set of competencies: event support and coordination, customer service, effective written and oral communication, organizational skills, time management, project management, and computer proficiency.

Reporting directly to a program associate supervisor, the program coordinator for Learning, Design, Development and Innovation will work in a unit that designs and provides instruction for online and blended credit and non-credit curriculum for the Division of Continuing Studies, external partners and other schools across the UW Campus. The unit is also responsible for a sizeable annual international conference of Distance Educators held in Madison. This position will contribute to delivering these activities, and support the team in an administrative capacity in assisting learners with registering for programs and events, assisting with event planning, programming, and will have a role in helping with the creation of marketing materials for the unit. The role requires an ability to be flexible and collaborative. Precise attention to detail and organization are also very important to this role.

Schedule Comment:
7:45 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday or as assigned to meet the needs of the department programs. Ability and willingness to work additional or alternate hours during times of heavy programming/conferences. Some travel may be required. Access to a vehicle preferred.

This is a two year appointment, but may become on-going in the future if funding permits.
