Are you an RN seeking an autonomous nursing position to utilize your nursing skills and expertise?

Looking Upwards, a well-established nonprofit human service agency is seeking to hire a full-time registered nurse to work with adults with DD/ID in residential settings throughout Rhode Island. 

*This position offers a $2,000.00 sign on bonus*

Qualifications:

• A valid Rhode Island Nursing license without disciplinary actions.
• Must have a valid driver's license with at least 3 years driving experience
• Must have a clean criminal background
• Must be highly motivated and comfortable working with people of all abilities.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Nursing case management in a group home setting
• Attendance of multidisciplinary team meetings
• Coordinating healthcare needs with multiple providers, attending physician appointments as necessary
• Visits to group homes on a routine basis
• Effective communication style with staff, individuals supported, and families
• Monitor medication administration
• Training direct support staff
• Computer skills with Word and Excel document knowledge
