Campus Services is the largest employer of student workers on campus. As the auxiliary unit for the university, we deliver all of the day-to-day essentials on campus including: Food, Housing, Parking, Campus Recreation, UC Bookstores, Conference and Event Services, Vending, and Bearcat Card. Working for the university has endless benefits like gaining relevant work experience in a variety of areas and staying involved with everything happening on campus. The graphic designers are responsible for creating communication designs for all areas of Campus Services, and include all graphic formats, such as print, digital, photography, video and motion.
Requirements
- A student majoring in Communication Design @ DAAP
- Provide PDF copy of portfolio OR link to web portfolio
Ideal Qualifications
Pre-Junior in Communication Design @ DAAP.
Brief Description of Role & Responsibilities
- Create design layouts, digital artwork for university auxiliaries under the supervision of the Campus Services Marketing Department
- Design for Multiple Media: Design visual communications for all Campus Services businesses, as well as campus partners
- Develop proposed solutions/recommendations - Utilize Creative Suite (Cloud) to generate and edit finished products and ensure that all design work follows university branding standards
- Photograph events as needed, source and edit photographs
- Motion Design: Create animations and videos
- Must be a student majoring in Communication Design @ DAAP. uc.edu/af/campus services
