Degree and area of specialization:
RN required. BSN preferred.

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
Perferred qualifications:
- 2 years experience in education or quality improvement projects.
- Experience in working with multi-disciplinary teams in long-term care organizations.
- Understanding of clinical data collection in nursing homes and how to utilize data in process improvement.
- Experience with conducting qualitative interviews/focus groups, observational/ethnographic studies and analyses of collected qualitative data.
- Experience in long-term care healthcare quality measurement and improvement.

License or Certificate:
Active WI Nursing License Required

Position Summary:
The selected candidate for this position will become a key member of a multi-disciplinary research program focused on improving antibiotic prescribing practices in nursing homes. The program encompasses research focused on generating a greater understanding of the antibiotic prescribing process in nursing homes, redesigning select aspects of the prescribing process through a multi-component stewardship intervention and evaluation of the fidelity and sustainability of the intervention in study nursing homes. The immediate program needs for this position are focused on providing direct coaching to six nursing homes.
