Job Summary:
This position performs highly technical customer service activities by direct interaction with customers, printing prepress activities in customer services, technical billing activities for three program service centers, records handling and filing, and customer assistance. This position interacts a great deal with the work flow of the customer service and production areas. DolT Digital Publishing & Printing Services provides a variety of printing, publishing and output solutions for both conventional and digitally generated documents for the University community and other state agencies. The department has approximately 40 full-time employees and a total operating budget exceeding $6 million. This position works under general supervision and reports to the Digital Publishing and Printing Customer Service Manager

This position is located in the customer services area of UW-Madison, Division of Information Technology, Systems Engineering & Operations, Digital Publishing & Printing group at 30 East Campus Mall (ECM) location.

*Basic knowledge in the field of printing services, preferably in customer services and digital pre-press activities.
*Experience with personal computer keyboard entry.

*Exceptional customer service skills and ability to interact with all different types of customers.
*Ability to prioritize multiple assignments.
*Ability to handle papers, inks, and other chemicals and substances commonly used in a printing environment with or without accommodation.
