The College of Medicine, Department of Quality Improvement, is looking for a Student Worker (MyChart Educator). This position will support the University's mission and commitment to excellence and diversity in our students, faculty, staff and all our activities.

Job Summary/Duties : Working within the UC Health Access Team, provides MyChart account activation and customer support for patients, family members, and UC Health staffing within the UC Health outpatient clinics. Assures compliance with HIPAA privacy guidelines for account activation and proxy access. Exhibits standards of excellence in customer service. Identifies trending in MyChart activation status and frequently asks questions to work with access in the development of communications that will drive patient engagement.

Minimum Qualifications : A "Student Employee" is an individual who is:

• At least 16 years of age;
• Enrolled at a post-secondary institution or a secondary school;
• Appointed as a Co-op Student, Student Worker, or Work Study Student;
• Enrolled at least part-time (one or more credit hours if at a post-secondary institution), with the exception of summer term, or will be a registered student during the next academic term;

"Enrollment" shall include:

• The period between two successive terms for which the student is enrolled
• The one "off" term in each academic year in which the student is not enrolled. Student employee status may be retained for one additional term following either graduation or withdrawal from enrollment
