Degree and area of specialization:
BA or BS in Adult Education, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, Public Health or related field.

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
Prefer two years' experience working in an administrative, marketing or outreach position in an academic health care setting planning and executing events, conferences and workshops including continuing medical education (CME) activities such as grand rounds.

Position Summary:
The Events and Continuing Medical Education (CME) Coordinator is a key position in the UW Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. This position will take a lead role on planning and executing various departmental activities and events. The incumbent will also provide back-up on all CME activities.

Additional Information:
This position requires excellent communication skills, both in writing and verbally and the ability to work with internal and external faculty, meeting planners, internal and external stakeholders and collaborators. Must have exceptional attention to detail, as well as superior organizational and record-keeping skills. Must be able to work effectively under pressure, problem solve, handle multiple task and work well independently and within teams. Must be able to travel occasionally and work flexible hours as needed.
