Degree and area of specialization:
Bachelor's degree preferred.

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
1-3 years of administrative support experience required. Desired experience areas include light accounting, data entry, scheduling and coordination, meeting arrangements, note taking, and reporting results.

Experience working with online databases and programs strongly preferred. Examples include: Google Drive, Microsoft Office Suite--Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Adobe Creative.

Position Summary:
This position provides high-level administrative support to healthTIDE (hT) and its leadership. This is a multi-faceted position with a high level of independence and professionalism expected of the successful candidate. The incumbent will coordinate a wide range of daily activities for healthTIDE, both program-related and administrative-related. Overall, this position requires excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal skills and requires attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

healthTIDE is a part of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, School of Medicine and Public Health, Department of Medicine and part of the Wisconsin Partnership Program's (WPP) Targeted Obesity Prevention Initiative. The primary goal of hT is to connect, convene and catalyze diverse partners working in government, communities, research and education, non-profit organizations, and advocacy organizations for collective action to more effectively address obesity in Wisconsin. The primary goal of the WPP's Targeted Obesity Prevention Initiative is to reduce obesity in Wisconsin by: investing in the infrastructure for support of hT; supporting comprehensive community interventions in two Wisconsin communities; developing a childhood obesity surveillance system; and outreach and community engagement that includes state and local level public messaging and dissemination of evidence-based solutions to obesity. healthTIDE and the OPI recognize the great value that diversity and inclusion brings to our team.

This position reports to the healthTIDE Director of Community Partnerships who, in collaboration with the healthTIDE Director of Academic Partnerships, is responsible for providing leadership for the development and modification, monitoring, evaluation, and support for the healthTIDE network.

Some travel to locations within the state of Wisconsin is required. Incumbent must provide own transportation that meets UW-Madison Risk Management standards, for which mileage traveled will be reimbursed through project resources at the current state level. Some evening work may be required.

This is a fixed-term terminal appointment which is expected to last for at least one year from the date of hire. There is the possibility the position will be extended or converted to an ongoing renewable appointment should additional funding be secured.
