Essential Function:Under supervision from a designated supervisor: Provide direct support from DAAPIT phone and radio requests for all facility and instructional academic endeavors for the College of DAAP.
Characteristic Duties:Primary duties include processing requests from the DAAPIT phone desk, DAAP staff radio communications, DAAP Facility / Classroom Support email, and in person visits from staff, faculty and students. Responses to these requests result in assisting instructors / presenters to properly interface to DAAP's electronic classroom facilities, delivering furnishings and equipment for critiques, meetings, or events, directing individuals to other facilities in the building that they need, and cleaning / maintenance.
IT-centric requests will need to be coordinated with DAAPIT personnel to assist faculty, staff and students. Being able to properly navigate a ticketing systems and clear communication is essential along with excellent customer service.
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 16 years of age.
- Enrolled at a post secondary institution or a secondary school;
- Enrolled at least part-time (one or more credit hours if at a post-secondary institution), with the exception of summer term, or will be a registered student during the next academic term.
