DIGITAL ADVERTISING AND MARKETING ASSOCIATE, MIT Technology Review , to support the sales team, working hand-in-hand with the director of strategic partnerships, digital sales strategy manager, and the sales and custom content "Insights" teams. Technology Review, a world-renowned technology publisher, is building its advertising sales team to help grow sales revenues and campaigns. Will help grow sales revenues and manage implementation and performance of all advertising campaigns. Responsibilities include collaborating with the sales, custom Insights, and events teams and other TR colleagues; creating--in response to RFPs--sales proposals that include current company information, research, and ad campaign recommendations; maintaining campaigns with the digital sales strategy manager and Insights team; loading custom articles/blogs onto technologyreview.com; identifying new ad products and maintaining general understanding of ad-serving technology and implementation; working with advertisers to ensure that supplied creative fits all ad server and site requirements; trafficking and reporting all online advertising campaigns; creating and distributing a weekly internal sales update; and maintaining all media kit materials.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED : at least three years' related experience; strong organizational, time management, and verbal and written communication skills; ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment; familiarity with ad-serving technology and syndicated research; excellent design and PowerPoint skills and ability to and interest in learning new technologies; ability to communicate by email and telephone with senior executives; facility with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, advanced PowerPoint); comfort working with social media and ability to learn a variety of web-based programs; and experience with communications, marketing, or technology projects. Experience with Photoshop or other design software preferred. Sales forecasting and audience research experience a plus. Job #16474-5
