Depending on Qualifications

Degree and area of specialization:
Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree or higher preferred. Data Science, Medical Informatics, Computer Science or related field preferred.

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
-Experience managing a professional team related to informatics, software support and/or analytics in a health sciences or higher education environment. 3+ years required 5+ years preferred.
-Experience with the creation and support of analytical reporting solutions using tools like Tableau and/or Qlik is required.
-Candidates with experience managing teams that support the use of technology (like Canvas, OASIS, ExamSoft and LearningSpace) related to health sciences education preferred.
-Experience leading or participating on teams using Agile methodologies such as Scrum is preferred.
-Demonstrated leadership roles related to projects, workgroups and committees.
-Excellent communication, organization, problem solving, and facilitation skills.

Position Summary:
As part of the Academic Information Systems team the Manager of Educational Informatics will be responsible for leading the team charged with supporting the educational applications and analytic portfolio of tools produced for the educational units within Academic Affairs for the School of Medicine and Public Health. The Manager will support the applications used in delivering education to learners as well as experience supporting the analytics and information derived from these applications. The position will have supervisory responsibility for the Educational Informatics Team. This position reports to the Director, Academic Information Systems, School of Medicine and Public Health.
