The College of Medicine, Department of Environmental Health is seeking an outstanding individual to fill a part-time faculty position at the Assistant Professor level to join its fast growing MPH Program.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must hold a doctoral degree in Public Health or related fields and be expected to have strong records of scholarship, funded research, excellence in teaching and advising, and service in the area of public health. Experience in administration of a graduate program will be highly valued. Specific research areas of interest include health policy, health services, health economics, health management, health system/program evaluation, comparison and implementation, and/or health technology and outcome assessments.

The appointee can anticipate an opportunity to become a member of several multidisciplinary research/educational centers/institutes including an NIOSH-funded Education and Research Center (ERC); the NIEHS-funded Center for Environmental Genetics (CEG); the NIH funded Center for Clinical and Translational Science and Training (CCTST); and UC's Cancer Institute, Neuroscience Institute and Cardiovascular Institute. He/she can expect routine interaction with faculty at the Cincinnati Children's Medical Center and the Cincinnati VA Hospital Medical Center, as well as with colleagues at the NIOSH and the USEPA, both have major facilities nearby.
