Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree

• Three years (3) full-time work experience is required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Community College full-time work experience is preferred

General Function:

Coordinate all student activity relating to dual enrollment/dual credit/SAILS/Early College and other partnership programs with the Moore County Campus high school area. This includes dual enrollment orientation/high school information sessions, recruitment, admissions, registration, grant application and verification, and materials management. Provide information to school personnel regarding programs, policies, and procedures.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

(Duties and responsibilities listed are examples of work performed and may be modified as needs of the College may dictate)
  • Promote, support, and participate in student recruitment and retention efforts for high school partnership programs
  • Cooperate with area high school CTE directors to expand and accelerate dual credit programs in the high schools
  • Stay current by reviewing nationwide academic research relating to best practices, trends, and legislation that affect high school partnership programs
  • Serve as liaison between all internal and external clients including students, parents, high school and college administrators, faculty, student services, and other campuses.
  • Work with SAILS and other high school and community college partnership programs
  • Work with Moore County Dean to assure class scheduling needs are met
  • Travel to area high schools, campus visits in the Moore County Campus service area
  • Work in a fast-paced environment managing several projects simultaneously
  • Capable of strategic planning, budgeting, problem-solving, management, program evaluation, and maintaining effective working relationships
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills both oral and written
  • Assist with marketing efforts and producing dual enrollment resources
  • Attends training as needed to improve skills as applicable to duties and responsibilities of the position
  • Spearhead retention efforts including, but not limited to, marketing, dual academic checkups, ensuring students understand benefits of the community college, TTPs, promotion of TN Promise, reverse transfer
  • Maintain all paperwork necessary for high school initiatives
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned
