Position Description:

Teaches safe and effective lifting techniques and proper spotting procedures; selects exercises and instructs athletes in strength, flexibility and speed development; supervises aspects of injury rehabilitation; provides nutrition counseling; designs long-term training programs for athletes; oversees internship/practical experiences in the Department of Kinesiology related to exercise science and theory of strength and conditioning; and collaborates with coaches to develop customized training protocols.

Education Requirements:

Master's degree in Exercise Science or related field required.

Required Qualifications:

At least four years of collegiate strength and conditioning coaching experience and one year of teaching experience required.

Certifications:

Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) required.
