Sales Marketing Associate

SALES MARKETING ASSOCIATE, MIT Technology Review (TR) , to be responsible for the creation of sales collateral and high-revenue proposals. Will collaborate with the sales and custom insights teams and other TR colleagues. Responsibilities include creating well-written and designed customized sales proposals in a timely manner, including company information, research, and ad campaign recommendations in response to RFPs when requested; and providing strategic input on all RFPs when requested by account executives, director of strategic accounts, and/or SVP of events. Will also maintain campaigns with digital sales strategy manager and custom insights team. This will include loading custom articles/blogs onto technologyreview.com with proper attribution; working with advertisers to ensure supplied creative fits all ad server and site requirements; trafficking and reporting on all online advertising campaigns (e.g., banner, social media, and newsletter sponsorships); creating and distributing a weekly internal sales update to facilitate communication within the sales department and between sales, marketing, and events teams; and creating and maintaining all media kit materials.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED : three years' related experience; familiarity with syndicated research; strong organizational skills and ability to manage projects to completion; excellent design, time management, and verbal and written communication skills; experience working independently and in a team environment; ability to communicate by email and telephone with senior executives; proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and advanced PowerPoint); and comfort working with social media and the ability to learn a variety of new technologies, including web-based programs. A bachelor's degree; experience with Photoshop or other design software; and experience with communications, marketing, or technology projects preferred. Sales forecasting and audience research experience a plus. Job #16255-5
