CAMPUS SERVICES / FOOD SERVICES

UC Food Services oversees the University's campus dining program which includes three major components: residential dining, retail dining, and catering. We have 25 locations that serve over 2.5 million meals a year with an annual revenue of $23 million. We are a contracted campus with two dedicated university personnel who oversee the contract as well as manage campus food service facilities. This newly created co-op position will assist in the management of the food contract with a focus on developing data driven benchmarks and key performance indicators. Some of the major job responsibilities are listed below. Due to this position being a new addition to our team we look forward to working with the individual that is hired to further develop this role.

Compensation: $15/hour, CDP 65 Dining Pass ($739 Value)

  • Compile benchmarking data to compare our operations with other University food service programs.
  • Compile monthly sales report to summarize sales for all campus food locations.
  • Attend weekly food services meeting and monthly financial review meeting.
  • Completely quality assurance reviews and compile/summarize feedback data.
  • Review and respond to general inquiries that come to the UC Food Services email accoun
  • Assist with creating a monthly newsletter for all meal plan students.
  • Work with Mystery Shop company, Campus Feedback to summarize and share reports with staff.
  • Manage FoodMark data compilation and review in collaboration with Campus Dining Inc.
  • Complete audit of staff compliance with the complementary meal plan policy.
  • Participate in Campus Services departmental projects as needed.


EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

Must be currently enrolled in the Lindner College of Business. Prefer a junior, senior or master's degree student. Will consider a sophomore student.
