A Lecturer is a full-time employee who teaches 39 credits per year and provides student and learning support services during the assigned period. The Lecturer holds a strong commitment to teaching; maintains office and advising hours for students; actively participates in the university community; and does related work as required. This is a non-tenure track position that may be renewed on an annual basis. Teaching assignments and related responsibilities may include day, evening, weekend and online courses. Interest or experience in using advanced instructional technologies to improve the teaching/learning process is highly desirable. Courses may be taught at the Union campus and/or Kean Ocean in Toms River, New Jersey or other locations. All Lecturers may be required to teach General Education courses. Positions are effective for the fall semester.
