Degree and area of specialization:
Master's degree required in adult training and development, higher education administration or other master's degrees with relevant experience.
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
Seven years' experience in educational administration or instructional development required; experience in medical education preferred.

Position Summary:
The Department of Family Medicine and Community Health (DFMCH) Director of Educational Services reports to the Department Administrator. The position has a matrixed reporting relationship to the Vice Chair for Education and supports this position in providing administrative leadership, strategic planning and oversight for the department?s statewide Graduate Medical Education programs, Osteopathic collaborative, fellowship programs, Office of Medical Student Education, and the Madison residency program as well as administrative involvement in education in community health including rural health. The Director specifically partners with the Designated Institutional Official (Director of Graduate Medical Education) by serving as the Institutional Coordinator for ACGME accreditation. In addition, this position provides administrative leadership to the Office of Community Health.
The Director also works closely and collaboratively with:
-Residency Program Directors and staff around the state
-Statewide Osteopathic Collaborative Director
-The Madison Residency Program Director, Associate Program Directors, faculty, and residency Program Staff
-The Director and staff of the Office of Medical Student Education
-The Faculty Directors for the Fellowship Programs
-Wisconsin Rural Physician Residency Assistant Program (WRPRAP) Director and staff
-Wisconsin Northern Consortium (WiNC)
-Wisconsin Council for Rural Graduate Medical Education (WCRGME)
