Marketing \u0026 Enrollment Analyst

GENERAL SUMMARY:The Marketing and Enrollment Analyst will collect data and generate reports that are essential to managing marketing and enrollment performance. Additionally, as the analyst masters the content of the reports and understands the metrics and behaviors that drive results for marketing and enrollment functions, they should be able to provide recommendations to management about additional reports and possible action plans that will drive conversion and improve performance of the marketing and enrollment teams.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support Marketing and Enrollment Management with the creation and distribution of weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports
  • Collect data needed for analyses related to performance of the Marketing and Enrollment teams
  • Contribute to projects related to the development of new reports and enhancement of existing reports
  • Assist in the validation of the output of new and existing reports
  • Support Marketing and Enrollment Management teams with ad-hoc reporting requirements and data collection requests
  • Provide suggestions and input related to pipeline management and other pertinent areas of performance
  • Contribute as required in annual budget and long-range planning process
  • Produce analytical narratives of key findings, including actionable business recommendations
  • Work with internal clients to spec-out and execute customization of existing reports or creation of new reports
  • Proactively generate ideas for reporting improvements as well as new ways of looking at information and opportunities presented by the data
  • Develop documentation and process flows for reporting process
  • Automate manual processes as directed as well as seek out these opportunities and proactively make recommendations for improvements

Marketing & Enrollment Analyst

External Requirements
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree required; major in Finance or Statistics preferred
  • The ideal candidate will have 2+ years experience in business analytics and strategic planning
  • Ability to retrieve and analyze data from large-scale relational database systems (SQL, ORACLE and Salesforce) using complex queries; translate these data sets into actionable insights for use marketing and enrollment management
  • Ability to analyze and visualize information using data visualization systems such as Tableau, Power BI and/or Crystal Reports; merge data from various data sources, identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and determine the interconnectivity of various KPIs
  • Working understanding of CRM system architecture to analyze data retrieved from these systems to support business decisions; experience with marketing automation ERP systems is a plus
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel user
  • Familiarity with ETL systems and reporting tools such as Cognos, SSRS and Crystal Reports
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced business environment and work with cross-functional teams in different time zones
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail required
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
