Overview of position: Summary of position's responsibilities
- Communicate accurate information about the current Workforce Development programs in person, via email, and over the telephone.
- Schedule program courses in accordance with the needs of clients.
- Responsible for student registration forms being distributed, completed accurately and turned in on time
- Responsible for Course Logistics
- Order materials, as necessary
- Distribute college-specific paperwork for all class sections (sign-in sheets, student waivers, syllabi etc.)
- Register students in a timely manner
- Recruit and hire appropriate instructional staff
- Submit and deliver instructor contracts/mock contracts/timesheets
- Communicate with instructors regarding student and facility needs
- Register students for distance education courses
- Assist with submitting grades for completed courses
- Traveling between office locations
Required Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma
- Two years of coordination experience in an educational setting
- Must possess a current, valid Driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Administrative experience in program management preferred Proven expertise working In a Windows environment.
- Strong computer skills
- Strong telephone and customer service skills
- Demonstrated ability to speak and write clearly and effectively
- Excellent organizational skills
- Experience with a multi-cultural environment a plus.
- Experience working at the community college level preferred
