ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI) REPORTER, MIT Technology Review (MITTR) , to provide coverage of important trends throughout the world of technology, focused on artificial intelligence. Will craft a daily newsletter and write regular stories for MITTR's website; define the mix/type of stories most relevant to readers interested IA, which may include assigning work to experts; work closely with the news and newsletters editor and the executive editor to create an appropriate strategy and set of tactics for ensuring outstanding coverage and with the senior editor, AI to identify areas of coverage to focus on; and build a strong public presence and expertise in the area of AI. Integration with the social media team and close collaboration with the events and marketing teams will be critical to success in this role.

Job Requirements
REQUIRED : bachelor's degree in journalism or related field; at least one year of journalism experience, preferably in science and/or technology; track record of accurate reporting and well-written stories about complex subjects for a wide audience; desire to build a new journalism product and customer experience; interest in telling stories in different formats; curiosity about people creating new technologies and a desire to tell their stories; and meticulous attention to accuracy. Must be able to identify important and relevant stories and turn those ideas into compelling, clear, and insightful articles; collaborate with colleagues across disciplines; and work under tight deadlines and fast pace. Facility with promoting content on social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.), comfort working with platforms like MailChimp or HubSpot, and experience with data visualization tools preferred. Advanced degree and experience in technology or science journalism a plus. Job #16187-N
