Coordinator of Digital Media & Design

Job Summary:  The Coordinator of Digital Media & Design will have a leadership role in the college’s creative services, manage publication projects, and assist in implementing a comprehensive marketing plan that supports the College's strategic goals.  Responsible for all areas of creative services, including graphic design, photography, and videography. Maintain Visual Style Guide.  Maintain integrated marketing and communications programs on an institution-wide basis serving key clients in the Office of the President, the Office of Institutional Advancement, and the Office of Admissions. Coordinate development, implementation, and evaluation of a comprehensive marketing plan that supports the College’s strategic goals.  Assist in development and execution of marketing and communications assessment plan. Responsible for the layout and design of various publications, including the Hilbert College Magazine, annual report, etc.  Provide support for web projects, primarily photo and video initiatives.  Execute a social media strategy, including posting content according to the programming schedule. Monitor social media activity and react or direct. Provide social media reports and analytics as needed.  Meet regularly with key clients (ex. admissions) to ensure marketing plan and advertising schedule is properly prioritized and executed.  Produce monthly reports on website metrics, campaign analytics, and marketing plan updates.  Manage external consultants and vendors as needed.  Other tasks as needed.

Requirements/Qualifications:  Superior writing and communication skills required; command of various computer software.  Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, IE- PhotoShop, InDesign, PremierePro, etc.  Demonstrated ability with graphic design, photography, and video production.  Demonstrated project and team management skills.  Demonstrated analytical skills.  Demonstrated ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.  Demonstrated ability to meet aggressive goals and deadlines, and manage multiple tasks.  Basic understanding of digital marketing.  Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to coordinate activities productively with functions and units outside his/her area.  Ability to work a wide range of activities, with flexibility in schedule, including some nights and weekends.  Ability and willingness to enthusiastically support the College’s Catholic, Franciscan mission, identity, and tradition.  Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college; advanced degree preferred.  Four (4) years full-time work experience with preference given to marketing, graphic design, or communications.
