Per course adjunct faculty for the Master of Arts in Teaching course, MAIT 401-02.

Qualifications
MAIT 401-02 - Introduction to Inquiry

Meets only on Saturdays, June 2 and June 9, 2018 from 10:00am - 5:00pm.

This course prepares students for inquiry-based learning and completing the master's program. Students reflect individually and collaboratively on areas of their professional preparation that they would like to improve and/or investigate more deeply. After choosing a subject area for further investigation, students generate a list of guiding questions on content and pedagogy in that area. Students learn how to extract and summarize essential information from research articles and primary content sources, and how to use the library and library databases to accessthis material. Students write a reflection on their existing teaching knowledge and their personal goals for the MAT. (1 unit)

If the course is not assigned to a current qualified adjunct faculty member under the process above, it may be assigned to a new hire after the 14 day period for current adjunct faculty members to apply has elapsed.
