The College of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Immunology, Allergy & Rheumatology is currently accepting applications for a full-time, program coordinator position.

Essential Function : Under general supervision from a designated administrator, plan, design, evaluate, modify and coordinate programs for the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Immunology, Allergy & Rheumatology. Engage in the day-to-day administration of finance related activities and report to management, provide recommendation and advice to management or other groups on process related topics and conduct or carry out work procedures and activities in accordance with local, state, federal, and university regulations.

Characteristic Duties :
  • Plan, design, evaluate, modify and coordinate programs for a department
  • Monitor quantitative and qualitative data on progress toward established program objectives;
  • Assist designated administrator to recruit program participants;
  • Administer and analyze assessment/evaluation questionnaires;
  • Under direction of management, coordinate and monitor fiscal administrative duties;
  • Assist in monitoring the financial status of unit programs and other budget allocations
  • Compile statistics and prepare reports;
  • Implement policies to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations;
  • Interact with staff, faculty, external agencies and other university departments;
  • Perform related duties based on departmental need
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with one (1) year experience; -OR- Associate's degree with three (3) years' experience; -OR- five (5) years' experience in program coordinator related area.

Preferred Qualifications: Prefer degree or experience in business or financial related area. Skill Level: Requires basic knowledge of finance area, including standard financial principles and terminology, theories and practices; duties are of minimal to moderate complexity and require some degree of fiscal, problem solving, training, and team coordination responsibilities, and have some degree of responsibility for interpretation and communication of information, ideas, and instructions.

This position will be a professional position paid at an hourly rate.
