Job Summary:
Under the general supervision of the Department Chair and Business Director, this position provides expertise for human resources for Engineering Professional Development (EPD) in the College of Engineering (COE) as well as chair specific support. The position will lead human resource activities for EPD working closely with other HR staff and with the COE human resources staff. Responsibilities include recruiting, assisting with staffing, classification, compensation, employee development, human resources policy and procedure interpretation, as well as best practice and process improvements. In addition, this position will track annual review progress for all department personnel as well as compliance with HR-related training. This position requires independent judgment and problem solving skills.
