Position Description:

Develops, directs, and coordinates first-year academic advising programs; assists in implementation of University-wide new student registration programs; assists in training Academic Advising advisors; counsels and advises students on academic choices; and in the Director's absence provides leadership for Academic Advising.

Education Requirements:

Master's degree in College Student Personnel, Counseling, Higher Education, Human Services or related field required.

Required Qualifications:

At least five years of full-time academic advising experience in a higher education setting required. Advising programming coordination and strategic committee experience as well as an understanding of intra-institutional relationships also required.

Desirable Qualifications:

Teaching and information technology experience preferred.
