Degree and area of specialization:
Bachelor's degree required; biomedical, social science, healthcare or related field preferred.

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
-Prior clinical research experience preferred.
-Prior experience with Institutional Review Board (IRB) application process preferred.

Position Summary:
The Regulatory and Administrative Specialist will join the Chemoprevention Disease-Oriented Team (DOT) and report directly to the Chemoprevention Research Program Manager at the University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center (UWCCC). The incumbent will support Chemoprevention research studies funded by the NCI Division of Cancer Prevention (DCP) and other sponsors. A working knowledge of research clinical principles and study guidelines is required to assist the research team. The incumbent will work independently and as a part of a group on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing projects based upon deadlines and interdisciplinary collaboration. The incumbent must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
