Campus Services is the largest employer of student workers on campus. As the auxiliary unit for the university, we deliver all of the day-to-day essentials on campus including: Food, Housing, Parking, Campus Recreation, UC Bookstores, Conference and Event Services, Vending, and Bearcat Card. Working for the university has endless benefits like gaining relevant work experience in a variety of areas and staying involved with everything happening on campus. The graphic designers are responsible for creating communication designs for all areas of Campus Services, and include all graphic formats, such as print, digital, photography, and motion.
Requirements
- A student majoring in Communication Design @ DAAP
- Enrolled at least part-time (6 credit hours for undergraduate students and 5 credit hours for graduate students), or will be a registered student during the next academic semester for summer work
- Provide PDF copy of portfolio OR link to web portfolio
Responsibilities
- Create design layouts, digital artwork for university auxiliaries under the supervision of the Campus Services Marketing Department
- Perform various production duties based on departmental need
Ideal Qualifications
- Pre-Junior in Communication Design @ DAAP. Part-time positions are open during academic semesters as well as full-time co-op.
