The College of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience at the University of Cincinnati is inviting applications to fill a faculty position. The successful candidate will join our team of international leaders committed to advancing the diagnosis and treatment of behavioral disorders. The final rank and title of the appointment (Assistant/Associate/Professor) is open and will be commensurate with the experience and professional accomplishments of the selected applicant.

We are seeking a board eligible or board certified Psychiatrist with research and clinical experience in anxiety disorders to join our collaborative and growing department of 125-full time faculty members. Consistent with the current vision and mission of the department, preference will be given to applicants who have experience in clinical, research, and teaching activities.

New faculty members will join a collaborative and growing department with a strong research emphasis, as well as recognition from the Best Doctors in America and Top Doctors in Cincinnati. The successful candidate will have opportunities to conduct meaningful clinical and translational research in stress and anxiety-related disorders and will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including basic scientists. Additionally, the successful candidate will have experience in these areas and inconducting clinical trials. Clinically, the psychiatrist will provide psychotherapeutic and psychopharmacologic treatment in their specialty of adults, adolescents, children, couples and/or families who are experiencing emotional difficulties due to stress, grief or other life events. Rank and Title are commensurate with experience.

The successful candidate can anticipate outstanding salary and benefits, paid malpractice insurance, and the potential for a start-up package and sign-on bonus. Relocation is available to candidates moving to the Cincinnati area.

Qualifications: All applicants must possess an M.D. or D.O, BE/BC in Psychiatry.
