The University of Cincinnati, College of Engineering and Applied Science (CEAS) invites applications for open undergraduate student Recruitment Coordinator positions. The college will be hiring up to two (2) Recruitment Coordinators.

The selected candidate will be responsible for individual and team activities related to the recruitment of undergraduate students to the College of Engineering and Applied Science. Responsibilities include representing CEAS at both on and off-campus admissions events, college fairs, and high school presentations; establishing relationships with targeted high schools; acting as primary contact for prospective students; assisting in the development and distribution of communications with prospective students; keeping and maintaining accurate records of activities; reviewing student applications; counseling prospective students and parents/guardians; planning and executing small and large-scale events; and other recruitment and retention related duties as assigned by the Director.

The position requires up to 50% travel during fall and spring months. Flexibility in scheduling is necessary as evening and weekend hours are sometimes required.

The position provides support to the Undergraduate Enrollment Office within the College of Engineering and Applied Science. Selected candidate will work frequently with other departments around the college and university including the Office of Admissions, CEAS Marketing, and others.

Ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills and will have experience working one-on-one with individuals and presenting in front of large groups. Previous experience in admissions, recruitment, marketing and communications, event planning and coordination preferred. Attributes and skills desired include: team orientation, professionalism, analytical thinking, listening/interpersonal communication skills, problem solving ability, conflict resolution, program development, time management skills, flexibility, teaching/training, collaboration, good judgment, and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks. Selected candidate must have a valid driver's license.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor degree with one (1) year of experience; -OR- Associate degree with three (3) years of experience; -OR- five (5) years of experience. Experience must be in program coordination. Selected candidate must have a valid driver's license. Must also be able to lift and carry 40 lbs unassisted to transport display boards and recruitment materials.
